WP Vivid Backup, Staging, Migration plugin

Intro

This plugin will perform 2 critical functions:

• Backup your site
• Migrate to and from Staging area for development and testing.

Install the Plugin

Go to Dashboard and select Add New Plugin.

Search for ‘wpvivid backup migration” or go to this link.

Click Install and then Activate.

Backup

To do the backup, go to Dashboard/WP Vivid and select the Backup tab

Select Database + Files.

Select Send Backup to Remote Storage. NOTE: The remote storage will be set up in the next step.

Click the Remote Storage tab.

Choose the Microsoft OneDrive tab to authenticate and set up credentials for remote storage on OneDrive.

Click the button that says Authenticate with Microsoft OneDrive.

Once you authenticate with Microsoft and log back into WordPress, you’ll see this:

Enter OneDrive for the name of the remote location, and leave the check mark in Set as the default remote storage.

Click the Add New Button.

Now, when you go to the Backup tab, you’ll see the option for OneDrive highlighed in the remote location section for you to select the next time you do a backup.
